As we continue to navigate through these uncertain times due to COVID-19, we want you to know that we remain dedicated to keeping you informed about what we are working on for you.

  • July 4th Holiday: Wishing you, your family and friends a safe and Happy 4th of July! CGC will be closed on Friday, July 3, 2020, in observance of the United States Independence Day. We will resume normal business hours on Monday, July 6, 2020. For critical and urgent items, please email afterhourssupport@computerguidance.com and we will respond asap.
  • eCMS v.4.2: We are excited to launch eCMS v.4.2 this summer helping our customers achieve more with improved navigation, new and enhanced financial reporting, and various additional product features. 
  • eCMS Field: We cannot wait to release our eCMS Field application designed to help construction workers accomplish daily tasks faster and easier at job sites.
  • Hosted/Cloud ERP Environments: We continue to closely manage our secure and highly resilient cloud services platform for maximum reliability for your eCMS environments and our IT systems and infrastructure. We are also ensuring that we follow established policies and procedures as they relate to our hosted cloud infrastructure, platform, and services. And, we are working diligently to migrate several customers over to our hosted cloud deployment. 
  • Professional Services Offerings: Our professional services teams are available to deliver both on-site and online training, support ongoing implementations, and provide consultation services keeping your organization moving forward. 
  • Customer Focus 2020 Virtual Conference: Our virtual conference will take place this month and it is something that you do not want to miss! Visit our CF2020 portal for more information.

Featured Product — eCMS v.4.2

We are excited to unveil eCMS v.4.2 during our Customer Focus 2020 Virtual Conference.

eCMS v.4.2 is designed with our product development strategy in mind of having all mission-critical information in one place and easily accessible, enhancing our users' experience so you achieve more with less, and always leveraging the latest technological advancements.

eCMS v.4.2 brings to you:

  • a new refreshed, responsive user interface
  • new and enhanced financial reporting capability
  • data-enabled search functionality
  • added mobility features
  • and much more.

Current eCMS Release Level

eCMS v.4.1 SP3 Fix Pack 5 with Hot Fix 501 is the most current version of eCMS available.

The current release level of your eCMS environment is shown at the right end of the blue bar at the bottom of your eCMS menu screen for v.4.1 environments. It is also shown on the About eCMS screen or by entering ABOUTCMS on a green-screen command line. Then page down to see information about your environment(s).

Over 60% of all CGC eCMS customers are using the most current version of eCMS. If you need to upgrade to the most current release, please submit a ticket to make the request or contact your CGC Account Manager.

Supported eCMS Releases

All eCMS release levels are supported for break/fix assistance. However, sometimes the fix may require upgrading your eCMS environment to a more current release level.

Supported release levels are those for which modifications, enhancements, and installation updates are provided.

  • eCMS v.4.1 SP3 Fix Pack 4 and later 

Some release levels are supported only for quarter-end/year-end updates and break/fix. The quarter-end/year-end updates contain only the minimal changes required by law.

  • eCMS v.4.1 SP3 Fix Pack 3 or earlier
  • eCMS v.4.1 SP2 Fix Pack 7 or later
  • eCMS v.4.0 SP12 Fix Pack 13
  • eCMS v.3.7 SP12 Fix Pack 4
  • eCMS v.3.4.3 SP14 Fix Pack 3 

If your eCMS environment is not at one of the supported release levels listed above and you need quarter-end/year-end updates, please contact your CGC Account Manager.
